While Brussles was a wonderful and exciting city, Lueven was very welcoming. Streets filled with boutiques- run by small business owners, and people who are not on a mission but simply looking for a way to enjoy the day make Lueven home to many easy-go-ers and my dear friend Daphne.
Seeing her hometown, and drinking mint tea in her favorite cafe was a
special treat. In America I had the joy of showing Daphne around
Portland- so seeing the town that owns her heart was special not only to
me, but her.
Falling in love with dress after drees,
and mint green tees or mint green pants, coffee bars, creperies and
decor boutiques- it is easy to feel as much of a piece of the city as
the natives.
Not able to soak in it's wonder in one
day, we'll re-visit the city in search of coffee and dresses until our
hunger is satisfied.
