BAND OF THE MOMENT: THE ASTEROID GALAXY TOUR

 

**New music video released on May 17, 2012**

Back in February my dearest friend, Erin, and I had the joy of seeing Galaxy Tour in Downtown Portland at the Wonder Ballroom. The eccentric band kept the room alive with electrified jazz tunes vibrating though the audience.

Heart Attack is a true feel-good song-- uplifting and heart calming. The talented group has fun with every tune, and that enthusiasm spills over into their attire. Decked out in essembles from the 70's and other various ages they light up any stage.

Golden age- possible one of the most exciting to see in concert, was their first song I'd ever heard and for the me who was uncovering a love of pre-my-era dresses and shorts, this song was a jack-pot.

GRADUATION FEVER

Graduation this coming Wednesday.

Last day of school was today~ crazy.

SURPRISE LUNCH

Wednesday May 30th I finally turned 18. I'm on the younger end of my class, and being so have been left out of all the 18 and up activities. Not that they were all to enticing- but, the fact that they were banned from me made them appealing (the kind of a appealing a chocolate cake is when your on a diet) Going to strip clubs, playing the lotto, getting a tattoo, buying cigaettes, and hangin' in the 18-and-up clubs.... simply because it's legal.

I hadn't planned anything special for my day except sushi with my girls, but it's amazing how extrodinary simple things like a meal with friends is. When I entered my besties house to meet for lunch, I walked into a surprise party. We've been friends for 6 years and those 6 years have been filled with many moments- this one made the list.

Lunch was filled with catch phrase, food, and essentially friends.

It was lovely.
